What Are Retainers?
After you are done with your orthodontic treatment, you will move to a retainer to maintain your results. What Should I Expect with Retainers?
Once your orthodontics are taken off your teeth, you can be fitted for your retainer. We'll take an impression of your teeth and send it to a dental lab. Once your retainer is ready around 1 – 2 weeks later, we'll schedule an office visit. During this appointment, Dr. Khanna will ensure your retainer fits comfortably before sending you home. She will also tell you when you have to wear your retainer, as well as how to wash and store it.
